Pastoral Supervision
Pastoral supervision is an invitation to someone engaged in work with others (the supervisee) to explore with another (the supervisor) how their work can be life affirming for those they work with as well as for themselves. Pastoral supervision is distinct from counselling/therapy, in that its ultimate beneficiaries are those with/for whom the person works, and from spiritual direction, in that the person’s relationship with God is not the sole focus, the emphasis being on the outworking of that relationship.
